Kitties! (And whatnot...)

We went to see some homeless kitties at the local animal shelter today. We're not going to get a pet though, but I mainly just wanted to see the place and maybe cuddle some cats while being there. Unfortunately most of the cats were either really shy or quite agressive and scary so I didn't get to pet them much. But they were adorable none the less ( Read more... )

Animal shelters are tough to go to, especially if you aren't planning on adopting. Every bit helps, though, like you said. :) One day I'm sure you'll make some fluffy kitty a proud mama. :D

Flutterbies.org looks awesome, btw!

Yesss! We started browsing through the notebooks where they had info on all the cats, and looking at wether this and that cat would fit into our apartment based on the info provided - at that point I started getting worried we might be leaving the place with a kittie of our own. :D Luckily (or unforunately?) most of the cats needed a buddy and we certainly can't take two cats at this point so we didn't find one that'd be good for us. And then the one I was most fond of and that would have suited us was already reserved. It's really dangerous indeed to go to those places when you're not even thinking of getting a pet!

About you emailing me, go ahead, I'll be happy to help where I can and answer any questions you might have. :) (miia[at]n0stalgia[dot]net)

Exactly. That's what's keeping us too from getting a pet: I'll be at school during the days, and the boyfriend will be at work so a dog wouldn't be an option especially if it was a puppy. And with a cat the problem would arise during those weekends when we'd be visiting our parents or friends etc. But hopefully some day... Let's keep our fingers crosse. :)

Yay, thanks! :D I'm glad to hear you like the look at FB.org 'cause I'm sort of satisfied with it myself, which rarely happens with my websites! I usually hate my layouts the minute they're up.
