So this time, the pain was wonderfully managed, but fatigue has taken me prisoner. Super duper tired, with a little numbness in my hands, so it's probably time for a transfusion. I do love the blood. Well, it had to happen eventually: the bills have begun to arrive. So far I have a little more than a $1000 waiting for me, and more will assuredly be coming. Also, as of the the beginning of June I will be going to 60% of my pay. Frankly, it's amazing that my company is willing to pay 60% for doing nothing, but it is not enough for me to pay rent ( Read more... )

Not gonna get too specific, but I talked to my insurance company and because I work for THE MOST AMAZING COMPANY EVAR, my out of network doctor will be payed as in-network, and instead of having 60 visits covered this year, I will have 120 visits covered ( Read more... )

So yeah, this shot sucks, pretty much every inch of me hurt this morning when I woke up, and the meds just sorta take the edge off. Might have to talk to the docs about getting stronger pain meds, or, I might have to switch to the 1-shot-for-10-days method. This sucks. OK, well that went not as bad as I feared, not as well as I had hoped. The treatments themselves seem to be fine, other than just feeling tired, but the anti-nausea meds REALLY wipe me out. Also, my chest is pretty sore from having a permanent port put in. The upswing of the 'power port', is in general, I won't have to get stuck in any other veins ( Read more... )
