[Unamused. Utterly unamused. The timing of whatever the hell interruption this was could not have been any worse. God knows how those idiots were handling themselves without Light's leadership. Ah, hello? It's nice to meet you, Light. I too received that message from the President, but I'm afraid I've never heard of Kernos Co.

If not, I'd like to know if it's possible to share information on the sorts of wounds these creatures can inflict. Obviously, I don't need to know which patient acquired which injury, but having a general idea of the damage they can cause and sharing that knowledge with the network at large should in theory have a preventative effect.

I'm afraid not, no. But it seems there are others on the island who are skilled in that line of work.
Though upon inspecting the parasites themselves and the wounds, it seems they burrow in between the dermis and the muscle, chewing through but not ingesting anything. They cause no further damage, although they are large and painful. I can't say anything definitive, but it's likely they just went for warmth. They all seemed to travel toward central body mass.
