[Now that she feels safer behind the walls, Sheva pulls out her smartphone and examines it further. It's not any brand that she recognizes

No dice.
I know you're low, but fire a shot so I know where to aim.
[If you have time to look around, you might see the business end of a pretty high-tech assault rifle steadied on the sill of one of the dorm windows, scanning the area.]

Confirmed.
[But she's not great with chit-chat while she's on watch, so she'll be ending the transmission and watching in silence until the above-thread-chick shows up for Sheva.]
DAY 14, EARLY MORNINGpartnerinheelsOctober 10 2011, 02:46:09 UTC
[It had been a long night, and in addition to all the not sleeping she did during the Kijuju incident, Sheva was nearly lwalking zombie. A zombie with intense military training and adrenaline still keeping her senses sharp.
It's for this reason that she approaches the door with caution, silently slipping in the key while keeping cover. Turning the lock as silently as possible, she gave herself a mental count before kicking it open with her M3 drawn.
[Shepard heard the footsteps. She set her laptop aside and slid silently off the bed, reaching for her M-6 Carnifex. By the time she hears the lock, Shepard's ready, so when the door's kicked open, the intruder gets an eyeful of heavy pistol and a look that says 'why the fuck are you in my room'.
[Instead of staring at the gun, Sheva had her eyes locked on Shepard as she nodded ever so slightly towards the key in the knob, answering the unasked question.
Still, she didn't relax her stance, or her trigger finger.]
[And she's letting her pistol-hand drop, setting it at the foot of her bed with the rest of her weaponry. If the woman still attacks, Shepard has her biotics to strike back with, but she sorely doubts she's in any danger now that she's made the connection.]
[Sheva has the same realization, and lowers her weapon as she does, loosening her her finger. She couldn't help but take inventory of the weapons and be relieved.]
A seventy-two hour night? It seems we are in a game.
[Sitting down seems like an amazing thing to Sheva, but she is mindful of just how nasty she is and carefully sits on the edge of a nightstand. It feels like heaven.]
We'll have to time the next one to be sure, of course.
Which side's the school on? If I can see it out my window, I could give you cover fire until help gets there.

Back up should in ten minutes. If we're in your scope I'd appreciate the cover.

[She works her way over to the window, carefully peeking around the edge to scan the windows. It's not long before she spots it.]
What about the back light on my phone? I don't want to risk the noise of fire unless it's necessary.
