Good work. It is still so amazing and refreshing to read your words spellign out the things that need saying, and doing so with full belief. I'm learning how many places in this world are parched for that, and you make me less thirsty with this work.
Thank you, also, for the reference to father/daughter abuse. It's becoming iconographic in stories, but its still veiled enough that people lack vocabulary and literacy in reality. As a culture we are still horribly wedded to the idea of the perfect home, possibly because the realization that there could be darkness there, as everywhere, is too scary for some people. Thanks for opening that window a little bit more. Thank you for all of these words, but as someone who pushes daily against that issue and silence, I tell you, your work makes a difference, and a good one. Keep going. You are doing the right thing.
