I... have no idea what happened here. XD; No, really I don't. It started out hilarious and then it turned all serious and I think it may just be made of fail, but it's a piece of writing and I'm going to submit it anyway. So, uh. There. >>;

Do you hear that sound? That's sound of me babbling with INCOHERENT GLEE over the awesome that is this fic. It most definitely not full of fail; I loved every piece of it. Buffy references, mud adventures, the humor, the romance, your Rachel and Nico characterization...

"So do I get you or not?"

She stopped, suddenly sensing the serious - and unexpected - turn this conversation had taken. "Excuse me?"

Nico shrugged like it was nothing, but it wasn't. This was something, all right. "It was just a question." Rachel looked at him, but his expression was impossible to read. But he was clearly being deadly (hah) serious.

You handled this transition from the funny to the serious so damn well, I'm jealous. That and everything follow after it is just so Nico/Rachel, it hurts.

So, in summation: I love it! :D

Seriously, I'm just glad to know this wasn't made of epic fail. XD; I had the bad feeling I'd somehow tried to write two stories at once and that they didn't mesh, but I swear to God I did not know Nico was going to pull that "Do I get you?" crap until he did and then I just had to run with it. :D; (I think I may also have been looking for an excuse to use the transporter line, but that was too funny to never use in anything.)

First of all, Beam us up, Scotty?! I burst out laughing, and seriously scared my dog. I love Nico and Rachel's conversations and Rachel's mind-babble. And I just really love this whole entire fic. Plus, anything set in a graveyard is good in my book :D

This made me go "awww" out loud. The son of Hades is not supposed to be that adorable, right? RIGHT?

This had me giggling and aw'ing and I feel all happy and silly now. I loved how train-of-thought it was, and it made the turn at the end when Nico became serious all of a sudden even better. And the witty banter: You have it down. So good!
