EXO for Sichuan CHARITY FANWORKS PROJECT!
EXO for Sichuan is a charity project to raise money to donate towards the relief effort for the earthquake that struck the Sichuan province in the southwest of China on Saturday, April 20th.
The idea is from the memory of what various fandoms did in the past to raise funds for the the famous Tohoku disaster that happened back in March 2011 in Japan. As someone who had close friends (and, as you'd understand, favorite idols) affected by it, I was extremely grateful to everyone who either donated their money or time to bring relief to those who needed it. Now - I feel like it's my turn to give back, and that's why I decided to host this project, along with a couple friends and fansites.
Basically, this is going to work like a charity auction. I invite EXO fans to donate their talents (as artists or writers or graphic designers), which will be put up for auction and all the proceeds raised will be donated through EXOST ( twitter) and they will be using the money to personally purchase supplies which will be sent to those in the stricken area who need them~
100% of the proceeds raised will be going straight to the relief efforts in China, so please participate!
All final donations will be submitted through paypal or online bank transfer. (info supplied later)
For artists, I want you to submit a post to this community with the following information~ (if you do not have an account, it's easy enough to create one! and worthwhile!)
Name: what everyone on the internet knows you by!
I am auctioning: art/story/graphic/other
Starting bid: you can choose what you think your art is worth. Please list starting bid+minimum increments.
Examples: link to your fic community, artist page, etc. Show the people bidding on your work exactly the quality of what they'll be paying for!
Specifics: let people know how far you're willing to go! are there any pairings you absolutely won't write about? EXO members that you absolutely cannot draw no matter how hard you try? Make sure people know everything now so they don't bid and then end up disappointed!
It is up to you to talk to the winning bidder about how long it will take you to complete the final product once they have paid. You must, absolutely must, follow through with this. I encourage you to allow anonymous comments on your entries so those who do not have LJ accounts can still participate.
For buyers:
Please only bid on a fanwork if you're absolutely certain you can pay for it.
To bid, you'll be commenting on the entry that the artist/writer/etc has posted to this community. Anonymous comments should be allowed, so if you don't have a livejournal account, don't fret, you'll still be allowed to bid. Please pay attention to the previous comments so that you don't bid a smaller amount to the previous high bid

The signups for the fanartists/writers are open immediately and will close April 26th, ( check here for updated deadline info) and the bidding will start on April 27th, lasting for one week. All money must be submitted as soon as possible after this date.
