err dorms have communal bookshelves right?

Yep, there are book closets in almost every dorm (at least in Lamont). If not, you can probably just hand down your stuff to the uppers.

uh, there's a lending library in the basement of the admissions office, which those who rock the fin aid (as I did) steal from as needed.
