He hadn't expected the third to be from his best friend.

"But Soo, I already said I was sorry! I didn't mean it...I miss you," he says sadly, hanging his yellow mackintosh next to Kyungsoo's.

Kyungsoo just hmphs and turns away.

Baekhyun tries talking to Kyungsoo again during class but Kyungsoo is doing a really good job with ignoring him.

"Soo," Baekhyun coos softly under his breath so seonsaengnim doesn't hear and tell him off again. He pokes Kyungsoo's elbow. "Soo..."

"I'm mad at you," Kyungsoo simply says, shoving him away.

The chair scrapes back with a loud noise as Baekhyun stumbles a bit. Seonsaengnim turns around from the blackboard and frowns. A warning. Baekhyun cowers.

"Soo," Baekhyun says again, a little bit louder, and this time, the whole class turns around to look at him. He flushes pink.

"I'm mad at you," Kyungsoo says again. “I’m not talking to you.”

Baekhyun furrows his brows. “You’re talking to me now,” he points out.

When Kyungsoo glares at him, he gets the feeling that that hadn’t been the right ( ... )

The note Kyungsoo gave him is still in his pocket. He can’t help but take it out and finger the edge out of habit as he waits for ‘all day’ to end--how long is there left? He glances at the clock but the short hand is just past twelve because it’s lunch time and it’s not quite home time yet ( ... )
