"Only kind of." He protests as Baekhyun laughs uncontrollably over the phone, almost shrieking in unison with Chanyeol who is surely eavesdropping on the side. "I said only kind of!"
But it's also kind of gotten worse as she rehearses with him and goes over his pronunciation word by word. Jongdae tries to ignore the way Liyin sits close to him, or the way her eyes crinkle when she laughs, or the way her finger moves across the score notes as she points out that it's the fourth tone, not the second. There's no way out of this, he reasons with himself. Then Liyin claps him on the shoulder for his good effort and Jongdae kind of falls in love all over again ( ... )

but this is all sort of cuteness and i just kind of fall in love with this otp all over again because "she laughs so happily that Jongdae's quite willing to draw a book of them for her" is just so kim jongdae with "adorable" as his middle name
