Kyungsoo has forgotten the feeling of having woken up to an empty, cold space beside him on his - their - bed but today was an exception. He jolts in his wake, a horrible feeling engulfing him. He feels like he’s being sucked into the core of a vortex when he shifts to his side to wrap his arms around a familiar warm vessel but finds nothing

“Does this mean I’m forgiven?” he asks, eagerly taking the sandwich in his hand.

“You are if you finish the whole thing,” Baekhyun replies - finally - and Kyungsoo suddenly can’t wait to pounce on the smiling boy across him. He takes a bite - wait why is Baekhyun wearing that shit-eating grin on his face oH MY GOD NO.

“How is that sandwich? Is it tasty?” Baekhyun says sweetly as he tries not to laugh.

Kyungsoo feels like his tongue is being set on fire and he immediately flies over to the counter to gulp some water.

“What the! Baekhyun! What the hell did you put in there?” Kyungsoo huffs, fanning his flushed face with a hand.

Baekhyun bursts out laughing, his body shaking badly as he tries not to fall off his chair. “You look like a grilled lobster. Your face is so red!”

Kyungsoo downs the rest of his water and pinches the leftover sandwich with a hand, smelling it. “Ugh! Is that wasabi? You put fucking wasabi in my sandwich?” he gapes in disbelief.

“I told you that was not made with love,” Baekhyun says as he wipes a tear
