Kris stares as the clock begins a countdown. It had been a clock up until the last 48 hours, now it was counting down. To what, he didn’t exactly know.
Less than an hour left.
&&Kris wakes up in the hospital, it’s white and blinding and he finds Jongin on the other bed of the ward. He sits up and looks to his surroundings when a nurse comes in. The nurse finds Kris awake and immediately calls for a doctor ( ... )

He lies back down and tightens his hold on Tao’s hand. He’s guilty and he will never forget the feeling of each and every member in his arms. He will never forget the way they looked, the way they had breathed out as they came and the way they dejectedly exited the room. Three days of fucking each other and he’s scarred, emotionally, physically, psychologically. He doesn’t think he’ll be okay.
The doctor had told them he wouldn’t die from the poison anymore. He’d been cured. But he feels like dying right now.
Tao squeezes his hand, he opens his eyes and sees Tao smile at him. He closes his eyes.
I’m tired.
&&Two years has passed. Kris has never fully recovered. None of them did. They’ve gone through therapy, they’re going through it even now. and all the different authors sort of took everything to a new level and the characterization of the members are all so diverse that if you take it as one story it doesn't flow anymore. i suppose the 72 hours au! is up for interpretation and doesn't really have to follow the previous installments anymore.

"responsibilities and priorities"-author said they were half through with the experiment (=36h have passed), so with xiumin/luhan as the first pair of the second half, they'd be experiment G.
and "things that matter"-author said they'd been in the room for about forty hours, and counting strictly in 6-hour-steps, that would either be 42h or 48h. but since 42h would be the first of the second half, that's experiment G, which means it can only be 48h, thus making lay/luhan experiment H.
there's no way to tell for sure when "we say goodbye, lost heaven" takes place but since there's still the almost-running-out-of-lube problem, I'm guessing it's still the first bottle of lube which would mean it takes place soon after the lay/luhan one. so maybe experiment I or J?

i think it would be cool to try to keep as much cohesion as possible, if we have just idk 80 fics at the end where everyone screws everyone at random times/turns it'll lose that delicious angsty feeling. smut is good but smut is better when there are unresolved feelings/consequences looming.

i guess future writers and anon prompters needs to keep in mind that there's only 6 more pairings left not including any special tasks and some of the installments have already set the pairings or member order that needs to be written but it can be quite hard as most have not read beyond the first two
