Kris walks around the university campus with an open mind and a pen full of ink. No matter how much he tries though, none of the societies interest him enough to warrant a sign up. It’s not that he’s being fussy or anything, it’s just that things like “Chinese chess club” and “Yaoi society” don’t sound like things he wants to spend his university life being a part of. The conventional societies, ones like basketball club and football, don’t begin sign-ups until later on in the term. He’d wanted to give it a go, to open himself up to all the parts of uni life, but when he passes a “human pandas” stall where a tall Chinese kid is sitting wearing a panda costume, he decides that some parts of uni life are better left unexperienced

With Luhan by his side and a pretty strong uppercut in case things get ugly, he feels pretty confident. Short-Asian kid whizzes past him without as much as a glance and Kris has to grab onto his arm to keep him from fleeing
