Jongin knew that having feelings for another boy was not seen as normal. When others found out about his crush on Kyungsoo and teased him for that, Jongin always vigorously denied it because he didn't want to be outcasted and made fun of. Though those rumors went around, Jongin was surprised and relieved that his crush acted as if that rumors were nonexistent. His crush still talked and joked around him in class (they are seat buddies/mates).

I'm hoping for a happy ending

Jongin glares at Luhan who bumps fists with Chanyeol as they enter the classroom.

"Where's your darling?" The deer boy continued.

Jongin feigns confusion. "If by darling you mean my dance shoes then there's no practice-"

"Don't play dumb," Chanyeol rolls his eyes. "I mean the little penguin. Desk partner?" He nods to the empty table beside Jongin. "Don't you two usually come to school together?"

"Yeah, not on Thursdays though, his parents give him a lift on the way to work."

"Hmm, pity." Luhan gives a pout. "And here I am waiting to tease the little princess and his Prince Charming during their grand entrance."

"You guys suck." Jongin drops his bag on the chair and plops himself in his chair.

"Mm, but I'm not the only one wanting to do some sucking." Baekhyun's hair is another shade of purple today, and when he looks up, Jongin notices his eyeliner is darker than before. Rolling his eyes, Jongin pretends he doesn't hear anything

A few days later, halfway through the day's lessons, Jongin's phone vibrates. It's from Chanyeol.

Still convinced you're not in love?

There is an image attached with the text. On closer inspection, Jongin realises it was taken on the day of the movie. The boy doesn't know if he should be offended at being lied to, or freaked out at being stalked. It was not unexpected though. He should have known his friends were up to something. He shoots them a glare before taking a good look at the photo.

Kyungsoo was laughing, gum showing above shiny white teeth, eyes crinkling with mischief. He was holding the tub of popcorn, hand midway to grabbing a few. Jongin breaks into a smile, until he notices himself in background of the picture.

He was laughing too. He now realises it was so obvious - he looks at Kyungsoo with much endearment, as though wanting to envelop him in a tight hug and never let go. If this is how he looks like every time Kyungsoo is around, it's a miracle that his crush does not notice it.

Op here! Omggg this is so cuteee. I thought that it include a bit of angst tbh but all this fluff is a wonderful surprise <3 its so fluffy and I love fluffffyyyy :3 I squealed at kyungsoo teasing jongin bout who's his crush when he already knows its himself. reading this made my day! And I don't mind if there's a hunhan sequel if you don't ;D

bb i didnt know you wanted angst haha! but i'm glad you like the fluff as well. oh yes kyungsoo knows all about it, only jongin is oblivious keke!! ooooh hunhan, i havent written it before, maybe u can request it as a prompt and someone may fill it in (if i have no time)
