Catboy AU

Kris may spoil his 5 year old daughter (or son, doesn't matter to me) but he can't bring her mother back to life so how can he deny her anything else?

One day when they're out to lunch she sees a pretty kitty and she begs Kris to let her have him. Kris tries to explain that this specific kitty is just for grown ups but his daughter doesn't understand and looks so sad that he gives in. He buys the cat and picks him up from his previous owners house later that night.

On the way home he tries to explain to the cat that he isn't going to be used for sex but to play with his daughter and keep her company. The cat is confused but fine with it. Everything is going well, he plays with the girl while Kris works and everyone is surprised at how long the cat kept her interest.

But one day the cat goes into heat and Kris has to take care of him.

Bonus for Kris forgetting that cats bred for sex go into heat because he's only dealt with "family cats"
