Two ideas:

In which Kris is a magician of questionable ability but thinks he is the greatest that has ever lived (or something like that) and kyungsoo is his long-suffering "lovely assistant"

OR

yixing is his assistant that acts more like an audience member that reveals all his tricks (ex: kris does a card trick, yixing looks at him curiously/skeptically for a moment and says "but you just shoved the card in your sleeve") / is endlessly amazed when he should be helping

If both options could be filled that would be great because everybody needs magician!kris in their lives :'3
