This deviates from the prompt a lot and probably doesn't fill half of it. It was too beautiful to pass by yet I'm not coherent enough to make it work (it sounded prettier in my head like all things do). I hope you enjoy this

It is a small apartment for two people cramped into such a space. But it is the only one they can manage in a city where living expenses are out of their reach. They barely get by with Yifan working as a barista and Kyungsoo nursing his tunes to people who don't bother to listen at the ungodly hours of night. They should be used to this. Used to sacrificing things for the sake of their dreams. But Kyungsoo wonders if somewhere along the way they had sacrificed their own for a way to get by
