Junmyeon pretends not to be affected by Kyungsoo's words, but the truth is he lost confidence in his smile. He starts smiling less because he thinks he's ugly when he smiles. Cue, a member (preferably someone who doesn't smile much or looks serious, idk maybe Xiumin or Kris) tells Junmyeon that he's really beautiful when he smiles and that his smile is actually equivalent to sunshine. Thus, making Junmyeon smile and the rest is fluffy love.

But rather than ugly, I think the expression "less handsome" is more correct. I know D.O was being funny because it was on an entertainment program, but honestly...
