Chanyeol gets up from the bed and towers over the man just one year his junior. Futile struggling in an attempt to remove his arm leaves Jongin no choice but to use words as his best weapon.

"Take. That. Back." He spits. They're standing so close he could almost count Chanyeol's eyelashes, so Jongin instinctively inches further forward to make sure he does.

"Make me." Chanyeol looks amused. The soft caress of his minty breath distracts Jongin for a bit. He stares at those sinful red lips licking themselves moist. It's only when those lips curl into a smirk and let out a chuckle does Jongin remember what he's doing.

This bastard.

"What's so funny? I said fucking take that back."

"You," Chanyeol grabs the younger by the chin to bring their faces even closer, "are fucking clingy

They end up fighting again. But this time, it doesn't end so well.

"Fuck this, I need a break from this shit. I don't even know anymore." Chanyeol kicks the table and storms towards the door.

Somehow Jongin finds himself opening his room door to Chanyeol's impassive face, just over two weeks later. He broke it off with Kris, because it just didn't work out. The man was all romantic and gentle, but there was no attraction and no spark that Jongin needs, like when Chanyeol just snaps and pushes them onto the ground, punches eventually turning into kisses. The last he heard, the man's little fling with Luhan didn't go too well either
