I'm relatively easy to please when it comes to genre movies. I only require one of two things: that the movie respects it's audience and itself, or the movie is completely and utterly bug fuck insane that it just makes up the damn rules as it goes along. I mean, I got what I expected, and was entertained. So I'm not complaining. I just had issue with certain things.
The gore effects were amazingly done. Lots of attention given to that, and I appreciated that. The over the topness was great for the most part. And I was just really amused when any of the people with heavy British accents said "fuck." It just sounded cute.
Oddly, I felt they did a good job of making the black guy very likable and all "aw, pooh" for him.
But I tell ya, I am never visiting the goddamn UK ever again. I swear, they have heinous diseases decimating their damn cities every other week!
