Is it normal to wake up at 6.40 on your day off and then be entirely unable to go back to sleep? I wish my body could work with me a lil', here.

Note: The Virgin Islands are the eastern island group of the Leeward Islands. Politically, the north-eastern islands form the British Virgin Islands and the south-western ones the United States Virgin Islands. Look it up on Wiki if you wanna. Un-beta'd.

The stillness of the early morning was interrupted when Canada, usually so calm and considerate, threw open the door to America's bedroom, expression wild and hair in a disarray. For once, the blond nation's voice was everything but weak, as he called out to the pile of pillows and blankets what hid his brother's sleeping form.
"America! America, are you okay, America, wake up, America!"
The older of the North-American twins lifted his head to blink confusedly at his brother. "What the hell?" he slurred.
"America, are you okay?!" Canada exclaimed, rushing over to the bed. "Did something happen to you?"
"What're you talkin' about, I just woke up."
"But… It's awful, it's horrible; the islands…"
"What islands?"
"The Virgin Islands! They've sunk! All of them; even England's!"
"The bloody hell is the fuss about."
Canada interrupted himself as a second head submerged from the sea of blankets. England glared up at the identical faces turned towards him; well, identical to the point where Canada's face was coloured by dawning realization, while America's split into a huge grin.
"Mornin', England. How's your ass doing?"
"Shut up. Why is there two of y-Oh for fuck's sake, Canada." England retreated back down under the blankets in the same moment as Canada found his voice once more.
"D-do you hear what I'm saying? The Virgin Islands are gone; they're…" He clamped his mouth shut tight; he feared that if he didn't, he'd suddenly find himself laughing hysterically, and this really wasn't a laughing matter. No, really, it wasn't.
"Huh," America said intelligently. "Hadn't thought about that. Oups?" He patted the pile beside him. "But seriously, England, I'm flattered. I'd never have guessed!"
Canada would never stop astonishing over how air-headed his brother really could be.

Note the second: And that is not to say that I would believe a disaster of this magnitude laughable in any manner, but that's not the point here!
