What you said about Jewish people: Why do they continue to be persecuted...ah! You answer lies in your comment about sterotyping. See--every sterotypical comment has "some" (only some!) element of truth. I'm not saying those comments are right, but you see what I'm saying.
Anyway, the reason why you hear all the typical Jewish jokes about money is because back in Jesus' time, the Jews were bankers and held a great deal of wealth--geniuses, really--so alot of people owed them money. And people never really take kindly to their debtors, so...

Keep your head low to the ground and remember that yes, 40% (or more) of soldiers you see in uniform are a disgrace to it.
