I've been getting the planned parenthood action alerts about this for a few weeks now, and have written several letters. However, I must bow to your letter. Righteous indignation with legalese go together so, so well. (I'm jealous.)

I hadn't thought of the liability aspect, and your points are excellent.

It pisses me off twice: once, because I happen to agree that it shouldn't be allowed for all of the reasons you cited, and again because I LIKE Target and they're making me not want to give them my dollars.

AHHHHHHRGH- where will I get inexpensive items without the guilt?

Rockin' letter, btw. One thing I am uncertain of, however, is whether the actual Church of Satan believes that suffering and pain glorifies their deity.

The Church of Satan, indeed, has nothing about pain/suffering in the tenets.

I did some research on them a while back for a book. I wanted to find out what TRUE Satanists were all about. *grin*

I actually know nothing about Satanists. I was simply making a hypothetical point. I suppose I should have researched it...bad me.

Chances are, Target's not going to know that. ;) I know lots of obscure things because I am hyper-curious.

Hi.

I saw this posted in another livejournal community I'm lurking in.
I think this was the best letter I've seen be sent to Target because it is the most eloquent.

Thank you. As was pointed out, there are a couple of spelling errors. That's what I get for being in a hurry.

Still, thanks for the kind words - I appreciate them!
