Shipping electronics

I'm planning to move back to the US next year and I'm not too worried about shipping most of my stuff through the mail, but I am worried about my PC. It's very nice and cost me a lot, so I don't want to leave it here. At the same time, I want it to arrive unbroken in the US. Any suggestions? It's huge, BTW, so I can't take it on the plane with me.

I shipped mine sea freight (as in the kind that goes on container ships) with the rest of my stuff. It arrived fine--I'm using the exact same computer right now, and we moved in Nov 2010. In the end, it came out to not that much more than shipping stuff in individually mailed boxes would have added up to. I did move with my husband, though, and you may not have as much stuff.
