I'm pleased to announce that my story "Red Roofed Temples in the Mountains Beneath Me" will appear in Postscripts!

My story "Clockwise, Counter" has been accepted at Falling Star Magazine.

The novel continues. One of my two main characters has just gone to hell. The other is soon to follow. Sending characters to hell is interesting . . . well, for me it is anyway. I don't know that they like it so much . . .

Two stories of mine were accepted today: "The End of Right Ascension" in Poe Little Thing and "The Flowering Cage" in Kaleidotrope. My story "Strange Fruit" has been accepted by Cafe Irreal. This is a venue I've read and respected for a long, long time. "Strange Fruit" will appear in the Summer 2010 issue, online August 1.

My story "Geppetto" has just been accepted for the next issue of Gargoyle. Wow. I'm flattered. This was a story I really enjoyed writing. I'm very happy it could be in such a good place ( Read more... )

Two complimentary magazines in two weeks - one a copy of Pear Noir! containing my story "Subscription", the other a copy of Gargoyle containing my flash piece "Fossiloctopus".
