Thinking about Pasties (Cornish Pasties) again. Short crust is apparently the pastry for the pasty, what I can't quite tell is if this really differs from pie crust. So what to put in the pasty. It seems to me a salmon and asparagus recipe would be awesome. Probably thicker asparagus cut into little pieces. I'm not sure whether or not to use canned ( Read more... )

I never had a cornish pastie before England. It was seriously awesome! I would be scared about trying to make one...good luck!
