[A teenage boy all bundled up in heavy winter clothing and a scarf has entered the church, and is currently sitting in the very back row of pews. He has his hands folded in prayer, his head leaned forward as he quietly recites the Lord's Prayer in Italian. His voice is shaky and full of fear, but he faithfully completes the entire thing.]

Padre nostro che sei nei cieli
sia santificato il tuo nome
venga il tuo regno
sia fatta la tua volontà
come in cielo così in terra.
Dacci oggi il nostro pane quotidiano
Rimetti a noi i nostri debiti
Come noi li rimettiamo ai nostri debitori.
E non ci indurre in tentazione
Ma liberaci dal male.
Amen.

[She notices, and closes the Bible that she was pouring over previously. The Church was very quiet, so it was easy to make out what he's saying.

Italian.

She's traveled quite a bit in the past 5 years, but the base of operation was still in Vatican; she was versed in the language.

She silently walks up to him, shedding aside the stoic expression to allow through a faint and gentle smile. It doesn't matter how she felt or how things were outside right now; if she can incite even a bit of comfort and security by showing patience and understanding, then it's that much good done to anyone.

...She'll wait for him to finish first, of course.]

Are you alright, boy?

((OOC: I personally don't know Italian, so what's in italics would be in that language. o/; ))

((OOC: It's fine, I Googled the translation for that anyway. We'll just assume everything from here on out between them is in Italian, if that's cool by you. I'll also drop the usual goofy accent thing with the -a on the end of half his words, since that's really an affectation he has when speaking languages other than Italian.))

[Seborga slowly looks up at Ciel as she approaches. He's heavily bundled, but it should be fairly easy to see even under the low light of the church that he's heavily burned. There are tears forming at the corners of his eyes as he speaks.]

"A-ah... I'm fine."

((OOC: Good with me! o/))

[She slowly reached out, and rests her hand lightly on his head. Despite the chiding tone, her voice is kind.]

You don't have to force yourself, and it's improper to lie in the House of the Lord. Please raise your head and let me see, child. These wounds are curable.

[A clank that looks suspiciously like Theta rolls into the church. She's never thought particularly highly of religion, but in a place like Mayfield where all things are possible, it's worth a shot. The clank is quite noisy, chugging and banging as it moves, and it rolls straight up the aisle and stops in front of the altar, just staying put awkwardly. If there were any non-drones here, someone was bound to say something, right?]

[...

Okay that's even weirder than seeing a vampire in a church. Shifting into a position that would still allow or quick movement, just in case, she stands up straight as she swiftly takes hold of the Bible on the stand, ready to summon Black Keys at any moment.

It didn't seem hostile at least, though...]

...Hello?

-If she goes by, she'll notice Jojo on his rooftop, just looking up to the sky.-

[She'll make a stop on top of the roof of the house one street behind his, and look up with him for a few moments.

Not feeling too talkative just yet, but she'll drop a greeting at least, if this persists.]

[She gives a soft hum of amusement that may or may not be lost with the wind.] Good evening, Kujo-san. Enjoying the view?

*Sakura watches sadly as she sends Merem off to school. She's staying home sick for a couple of days. After he's left she'll ask Ciel about it.*

... This means he's gone too.

[Ciel looks the same as always, though Sakura might be the only one to pick up that something was boiling faintly beneath her eyes.]

That's right, Merem has been droned. He didn't have any distinctive possession in this town, so I can't say whether that's permanent or not.

*It's something only people like them could understand. Sakura nods and puts on a fake smile just for Ciel's sake.*

I do hope he comes back. He is a nice boy.

[Damn straight. You don't have to, Sakura, but she appreciated the sentiment. ;u;/]

Haha, not at all. He's actually quite troublesome, but I will deal with it, if he ever does.

[It will be after work before he gets there, but he'll pause to wait for her to acknowledge his presence or finish her prayers before he'll say anything.]

[She does, after a while, and offers him her usual smile.]

Good afternoon, Father Simon. ...I would ask if you've been well, but the state of affairs in the whole town has been grim, for the past few days. You're holding up okay, I would hope?

[He smiles back at her, and nods a bit at her question]

I didn't get anything, so I seem to be fine. I've been being cautious though, since I have no idea what is happening with others. Yourself?

I haven't either because I haven't sent a letter, but many of my acquaintances and friends have. I've been running ragged for the past few days, but I did manage to aid a few. You may wish to stay home for the next few days, though; without abilities, going out may be dangerous, and there is only so much that we can do, about the littering fake corpses and the ones who have been injured.
