[Bazett is stumbling and panting as she heads back to her house. After several drug filled encounters, including a few that had escalated into physical violence, most of the hallucinogens were out of her system. Not all of it, but enough of it that she can still tell that she is in Mayfield ( ... )

[Bazett just sighs and tries to push the girl onto the couch.]

What should be below?

You said your baptism was tomorrow, right? Then get some sleep first.

Where I should be.

[After a beat, she'll effectively start heading towards the back, and if not halted, she'll stop in front of the basement door.

She reaches a hand out to the handle; it's shaking, even when the rest of her body isn't. Try to pull her back, or just keep watching? ...Either way, at least maybe she'll stay here and not wander back out, if nothing else.]

[Bazette is a little surprised at how easily the girl slips out of her grasp. She reaches to pull the girl back.]

Why do you need to be down there?

[Come to think of it, she had mentioned Burial Quarters, a Baptism, and priests. Was she connected to the Holy Church? If so, what was her status?]

It's below ground level.

[She's easily stopped, but it's said the same tone as someone announcing something simply because it is. As if just the mere mention explains everything. Though as correct as that deduction may be, in this state, it may be hard for her to answer anything coherently.]

What is below ground level? The Burial Quarters? Why do you need to be in the Burial Quarters?

[She realizes that this could be a good chance to get information out of the girl. She instantly feels a little guilty with that line of thought. She did not like to take advantage of drugged people, especially not the ones who were half catatonic.]

[But would it really be taking advantage of her if she could use the information to help the girl? It is with this mindset that she asks her question.]

I have to be there when the Director comes for me tomorrow.

[The answers are disjointed and hard to pierce together, but she may get something yet.]

Who is the Director? Why are they coming for you?

[So far, she has picked up that the girl is most likely connected to the Burial Agency of the Holy Church. For some reason, her experiences there had left her in this strange state.]

[It all makes sense in a horrifying way. The Burial Agency was the most secretive of the Church's sub-organizations, a group of special Executors feared by the even the rest of the Church. Who know what they have done to this girl?]

[At that, she just grows quiet, her head drops a little. Her expression grows even duller, if such a thing as possible.]

...

No.

I should go. Thank you for showing me where.

[Opening the door, she'll make her way downstairs. Once her feet touches the ground, she'll just walk to a corner before sitting down, huddling her knees against her chest with her back against the wall.]

[Bazett sighs, runs into the bedroom, and pulls out the quilts. She then runs into the basement and throws the quilts around the girl's shoulders.]

At least keep warm.

[She notices that her question must have hit a soft spot. She wonders if she should stop probing, but then decides to continue. Maybe forcing her to remember would shock her out of this haze.]

So you don't have a home anymore? What happened to it?
