Not a Christian, so please forgive me but... tatjna May 2 2012, 22:15:54 UTC
Aren't kids immune to all that hell stuff through being innocent or something? And wouldn't that mean they are safe without baptism until adulthood, at which time if it's important to them they can get baptised and Bob's Your Uncle?

I don't understand religion but yay you for sticking to your guns. Your kid, your decision.

oh gosh girl, i really really really hope your folks will NOT pressure you too hard u know *sending super intense GOOD VIBES your way chic* for you and your child!

i agree with you on many hinted notes here --> organized religion does tend cause a certain amount of anxiousness and superstition in even the brightest mind!

i guess all i can offer/say is u know, maybe, be careful not to get too angry with your folks for their persistence/nervousness. u know, our parents cannot help how they themselves were raised, right? and..especially once they've passed a certain age in life ;)

hey ~ peace in your day chic & know my thoughts are with you and this uphill climb of yours <3

*hugs* Thanks, honey. I appreciate the loving vibe. Like I said, I just fear a grave over-reaction and rending in the family because I have ever been the black sheep. Finally I do something right, marry a good man and produce offspring only to run into this. Blah.

You're right about the parents' perspective. Time shall tell.
