Well that's because I haven't gotten real in a long time :)

Yo I IMed you earlier today, but you were at work... so I'll tell you here:

Right around the time that you got home from the Vandals show the other night, and I IMed you screaming "I HAVE A DATE!" I sent Kira a text saying the same thing.

And so anyway. Ironic, because today Kira sent me a message with a link to the Vandals' tune "I Have A Date."

Which reminded me how funny it was that you went to see the Vandals, who have a song called "I Have A Date," on the same evening that I got a date. Which for anyone else on the planet would mean very little. But because I rarely get dates, and you rarely see the Vandals, it was a neat coincidence.

AND THAT TOOK WAY TOO LONG TO EXPLAIN

Best coincident ever!!! I was singing that song at the top of my lungs earlier in the evening while driving in a jeep- it was fantastic. They unfortunately did not sing it at the show, nor did i get to sing about how i'm never going to change my pants. BUT i did however get to throw some elbows minus suing someone!!!
