He then falls in love with Delilah at the Brook of Sorek. The Philistines approach Delilah and induce her to try to find the secret of Samson's strength. Samson tells her that he can be bound with fresh bowstrings. She does so while he sleeps, but when he wakes up he snaps the strings. She persists, and he tells her he can be bound with new ropes.

Delilah: *binds him with bowstrings* Holy crap guys!

Delilah: Snip.
What the hell. I get the "he loved her" part, but if you know somebody is trying to kill you, you generally don't tell them your weakness unless you want to die.
