My First Month Living in Austin, TX

I'm so used to living in the suburbs and having to drive 30-45 minutes to do anything worthwhile, so getting to live in a big city with lots of interesting things going on all the time, within walking distance is just terribly exciting to me. this entry makes me really really want to live in austin, or at the very least, come visit. kevin and i have been having a lot of "coincidences" involving austin. in fact, my new office mate is from austin and she's great! i will have to tell you about all of them sometime.

you should definitely come and visit. fun fun fun fest is in november and it has a great line up. do come sometime. it's wonderful here and daniel and i are so bummed that none of our friends are experiencing this with us.

You should come visit at least. It really is a great place to live. You're in a big exciting city one moment, and then you drive for 10 minutes down the highway and you're out in hill country.

I did find a job. I'm now a Case Manager at a non-profit. I started this past Monday and everyone has been incredibly nice. Congratulations on your job too. I think we found jobs on the exact same day.
