Mr. Fakir's gone.

His room is all empty, so I can't even check his closet for a secret stash of dashing capes, or stories, or ballet music records.

I guess that means the Other-Fakir behind the mirror's gone too. Good riddance.

If the Queen wanted her mirror people to come over, then I guess so. Or if one of them tried to run away again, like Mr. Other-Saix.

Sometimes. Sometimes they've forgotten their first visit even happened.

No! They're like the bad sides of us, or...the opposite sides! Mine has the ... the um... whatchmacallits instead of eyes. And Alice has got no eyes too, because of the fixed trial! And The Beldam's a nasty old fairy who wants to be people's mothers so she can such the life out of them with her motherly love!
