RELATIONSHIPS
POTENTIAL ALLIES
Colonel Frank Archer
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003)
"Working together would ensure we could get the information quickly...teaming up can only benefit us."
Archer is, at first glance, the horribly abrasive sort; further discussion revealed that beneath this exterior, he's the horribly abrasive sort with no sense of subtlety, politeness or patience. Kimblee can't exactly say that he likes Archer at all, but teaming up with someone from Amestris is sure to be beneficial in some ways, and since both of their chimeras are utterly useless right now, it'll at least be good for training if nothing else. Of course, it helps that Archer is more willing to talk to Kimblee due to working with a different version of him back in...whatever completely bizarre and nonsensical version of Amestris Archer crawled out of; Kimblee definitely isn't above using this to his advantage if necessity arises.
Lust
Fullmetal Alchemist
"Why, why, it's been a little while since we last met but I'm glad to see you haven't forgotten. Then again, it's hard to forget your prime. "
It's been quite some time since Kimblee last saw Lust; he hasn't worked with her since the Ishval War, where he was vaguely acquainted with both her and Envy. Despite the entire...incident with Pride ultimately proving to Kimblee that the Homunculi are not deserving of the world, as they seem to believe they are, he can't say that he isn't pleased to see her anyway - familiarity is one reason, the fact that the Homunculi tend to keep things very interesting is another.

Envy
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003)
"So did our good friend Greed tell you about me, or does none of this sound familiar at all?"
Kimblee was rather familiar with the Envy from his own version of Amestris; he'd worked with him somewhat during the Ishval War, and it was Envy who gave Kimblee his orders following his release from prison. This is...very plainly not that Envy, as is evidenced by the fact that this one seems to remember a completely different set of events. Kimblee intends to keep an eye on this one for now, given that Envy seemed...suspicious of him, for some reason; he can't deny curiosity, however.
Gorthan
PKNA
"Do you have any idea what constitutes a hero, Kimblee? Do you believe you have ever met one?"
Kimblee is admittedly not very sure what he thinks of Gorthan right now; he finds the man condescending, which is rather agitating on several levels, and he tends to not consider all possibilities before opening his mouth to comment on them. At the same time, he's got a healthy curiosity regarding others, which Kimblee can definitely appreciate, and he also seems interested in philosophy and various other soft sciences, which is a mutual fascination. He's also a man of science in general, and Kimblee can definitely respect that...of course, the fact that he tends to stroke Kimblee's ego quite a bit also helps with his opinion on the guy, not going to lie.

Matt Engarde
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
"Some dude told me that people usually wake up in New Bark, but sometimes people start off in Mahogany instead..."
Matt appears to be quite a dense individual on first glance, what with all the slang and the awkward phrasing; most signs point toward "not very bright" overall. But he's shown a bit of a talent for subtlety that definitely caught Kimblee's interest, and he's noticed that Matt seems to be sussing him out - his methods are somewhat similar to Kimblee's own. He'll be keeping an eye on this one, certainly.
Tavros Nitram
Homestuck
"...it sounds like you weren't really afraid of it, any of it, I mean, which is a pretty brave way to be like, and, I don't know if I'm, uhh, in that manner of being, also... or if it's a thing that I could learn how to be."
Though he never did get his name, Kimblee met Tavros over the network, engaging him in conversation following a post made by Tavros about his own impending death. The conversation quickly took a turn for the weird, though given the topic that was probably to be expected; Kimblee can appreciate that Tavros seems to understand what he's talking about despite his young age, and he does have to admit curiosity about what in the world the kid was going on about.
Winry Rockbell
Fullmetal Alchemist
"...You know me?"
Possibly the most striking thing about his interactions with Winry would be the fact that she's from a point in time where the incident at Briggs has yet to occur for her - she doesn't know him, and as such she's getting acquainted with him all over again. Kimblee believes this to be highly beneficial, because that also means she has no idea that he likes to take hostages, and has done so using her in the past...although admittedly, as little as he actually gives a damn about Winry, it is nice to see her in one piece after the entire fiasco with Scar.
Yagyuu Hiroshi
Prince of Tennis
"People tend to be notoriously good at finding hypothetical exceptions to universal rules."
Another one that Kimblee engaged in discussion over the network, this time regarding a post Yagyuu made questioning nature vs. nurture and the ethics involved in breeding and training Pokémon; this led to a series of written messages sent back and forth between them, debating the existence of morality as an inherent trait. He finds Yagyuu to be a highly intelligent, eloquent individual; as they've been communicating via text, he essentially has a name for the kid and nothing else in terms of personal information, but that suits Kimblee perfectly well as far as interacting with him goes.
NEUTRALITY
Conner Kent
Young Justice

Danny Fenton
Danny Phantom
"Yeah, the ledges are...just a mechanic here. Try not to think too much about it."
Has apparently been travelling with Edward Elric; he seems pleasant enough for now, however, and isn't showing too many signs that he may have heard anything negative. Kimblee considers him neither an ally nor a threat, but he seems to have been in this place for a while and as such he may have information that proves useful eventually.
Heather Mason
Silent Hill
"..."

"John Doe" (Shelly de Killer)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
"Why, thank you... but I am quite content with my humble profession."
Shelly gave Kimblee the name "John Doe" to refer to him by, and while Kimblee finds that a bit dubious, he intends to do so unless informed otherwise; according to him, he's a ridiculously well-spoken man in the...cleaning profession.
Katara
Avatar: The Last Airbender
"Yeah, sorry to say, but you left logic behind in whatever world you were pulled from."
Katara is another one that knows the Elrics, yet doesn't seem to have heard anything terribly unpleasant about him; she was receptive enough to communication, and she's another that seems to have information about this world and as such may prove useful eventually.
Mihoshi Kuramitsu
Tenchi Muyo!
"Of course I've only been here... three months? And um, have only made it to Violet City but! I've seen what they have around here and I've never seen that before! "
He hasn't spoken terribly much to Mihoshi, nor has he gotten her name, but so far she seems to be an incredibly cheerful individual, if something of a ditz; Kimblee isn't opposed to talking to the ditzy ones from time to time, however - he often finds them endearing, and so far she hasn't been much of an exception to that.
"Osaka" (Ayumu Kasuga)
Azumanga Daioh
"...that's probably why the vote got all screwed up. I bet it was rigged by the water-type mafia."
Osaka's line of thinking doesn't appear to be so much "missing the forest for the trees" as it is "not even seeing the trees entirely, she's too busy looking at the sailboats despite the fact that we're landlocked." He met her over the network, while she was rambling about why Pokémon are named what they are, and he finds her incredibly amusing, if nothing else.

POTENTIAL THREATS
Edward Elric
Fullmetal Alchemist
"...blowing up the building I was in and nearly killing me doesn't exactly make you a friend of mine."
As much as Kimblee fails to consider Ed a true threat after the entire fiasco with Pride, that line of thinking doesn't exactly apply to this one; he seems to be from right in the middle of the Briggs incident, and that...isn't exactly good as Kimblee goes, for obvious reasons. He's content to keep up the condescension and light antagonizing for now, though he actually does respect the kid more than he'll ever admit to his face.
Brig. General Roy Mustang
Fullmetal Alchemist
"My sense of righteousness hasn't steered me wrong, and I don't see the day when it will."
It's been a good several years since Kimblee last spoke to Roy back in Amestris - not since they both served in Ishval. Roy's demeanor toward Kimblee has shifted a good amount since then, however, and Kimblee can definitely tell; they never got along back then, but since his arrival in Johto Roy has been continually freezing him out entirely - it's not that he expects Roy to be open with him, it's that he receives no emotional feedback at all, and Kimblee pretty much requires that from others or he becomes frustrated and increasingly suspicious of the person in question. As such, he's both incredibly wary of Roy and constantly trying to provoke him on purpose for the sake of drawing some sort of response that isn't calculated in advance.
