Rush Limbaugh has been irrelevant for the past eight years. Suddenly a Democrat is president and everyone is bitching about him again. Why does Democratic relevance suddenly make a conservative ideologue relevant

Nobody pays attention to the guy agreeing with the president. When Obama became president Rush went from apologist to dissident. And dissidents are so much cooler than apologists.

Who's bitching about him, and wasn't he relevant a few years ago on drug issues?

I don't know that he is irrelevant. A lot of people believe what he says and take it as truth. I would say that's relevance. The way he got several standing ovations at CPAC (I did watch it, btw) that's relevance
