Board game hijinks!!!

Purpose: To play a board game (huzzah)
Location: The lounge
Time: Around 3pm on October 18th
Warnings: None

Summary: Since it was a boring day, Ben decided to alleviate that by playing a board game with his new pal, Vincent.

Vincent's upset had soon turned to boredom after he had boarded the Valkyrie Express. Compared to fighting Proxies and travelling the world with Re-L and Pino, everything here was so slow, and so very, very dull. Walking through the train each day, he had seen colorful characters engaged in conversation with each other, or hastily working on varied projects. He didn't feel any semblance of a sense of belonging.

Stepping slowly through the lounge, however, he noticed an equally lonely looking boy gazing at a pile of cardboard boxes, with colorful pictures spread over them Operation! one box declared, Cluedo, said another. Curious as to what they were, Vincent crept over to the boy.
"... Uhm, what're those?"

The voice startled him, 'causing him to leap from his kneeled position over the board games. With wide eyes, he turned around to find someone standing behind him. He appeared to be confused by what he was doing, it seemed.

"Oh, those are board games." replied Ben. "They're...for having fun." Knowing that many of the other passengers were from other worlds, it was very likely this other guy was probably from a place that didn't have stuff like this. So, he decided to take it upon himself to explain what they were.

"Having... Fun?" Vincent began to ponder this new information. It seemed that these 'board games' were some kind of passtime in this weird place. But how could colored patterns on cardboard be used for fun?
"I'm sorry, but I really don't understand... How do you use these?"

Was it really that complicated to understand? Despite it baffling Ben, he decided to elaborate on that some more. "Okay, some games are different and so have different rules. And you usually have to get pieces that are in the box and use them to travel around a board... Wait, I'm still not making much sense, am I..?"
