On her bed, at the hotel in Aurora Bay, Signy was carefully painting her nails a bright orange. It was odd since she hated the color, but she had this urge to coat it like that anyhow.

Her cellphone rang and she accidentally pushed the brush onto her toe instead. Groaning, she lifted her foot, wiggling the 'tainted' toe. Grabbing the phone seconds later, she held the receiver in place by keeping it against her shoulder as she took out some nailpolish remover. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeees?"

The unnecessary length of her greeting was grating to him, but it was of little consequence. "Hello. Can I assume that you remember who I am?"

"Raggy? Is that you?" Sig smirked. "Did you do it? Did you kill Ran yet?"

"The name is Ragnar. There is no need for us to get informal." The antics of his client were already beginning, it seemed, and he had yet to even break the exciting news to her. However, it was now time to do just that. "And no, this is a simple status report."
