Does the Tall Grass Rustle in the Forest?

Summary: N and Ran go out into the woods to see if they can make a new friend, and persuade it to board the train. Excessive force may prove necessary.

For the most part, Ran was treating this little expedition with as much apathy as she could muster. As she trudged along behind N, she had her PSP and played some of the Hetalia RPG. She sighed as she attempted to dodge the trees in the area. It would probably be a good idea to make conversation, no matter how small and meaningless. But she really didn't know what to say to the stranger.

N didn't really mind what Ran was doing, but he did continue to remind himself that she was there. It was of minor importance, but still relevant.

He continued walking forward, looking for any signs of what they were there to meet. "Have you done much exploring before?" He threw back a random question at Ran, just to see if she would answer.

Looking up from her game, Ran thought for a moment of what her answer would be. "In a way. Just living on the Valkyrie Express has forced me to 'explore' places around the world that I never thought to before. Creepy forests included." A tiny smile formed soon after.

He smirked a bit in return. "You think this place is creepy?"

Stopping under a tree, he lifts a hand to bend around one of its branches. "It seems normal enough, though it would be creepy if we weren't able to find at least a few Pokémon here."
