Yo, I am the resident techie who is married to rainsongs....I am trying to work your pc issue, but I need to get some info from you and give some info to you...I am going to add you and you can comment on my journal if you want instead...thx.
Thanks! I added you back! Basically, I had been told to set my BIOS settings to the default, which I did and ever since then, Windows won't load. I keep getting the same screen that asks if you want to start Windows normally or if you want to start it with the last known good configuration and none of those choices work. I also tried to reload windows and that didn't work either.
I never got recovery disks for my comp. I have spent 2 months trying to get them, only to finally find out that the company who owns my computer now, has gone bankrupt and as long as they are in litigation, all of the disks and computer parts are tied up in the court system.
I wanted to try and put the BIOS settings back but I don't know what they were and I'm afraid to change anything else in that system.
Safe Mode doesn't work either. I don't have a windows disk but my friend has one and I tried that, but it gave me an error after it went part way through the set up.
Some sort of blue screen pops up super fast - not long enough to even read what it is, but I did a screen shot of it once and saw that it was some error code, but I don't see how to even enter the code if I can't get into Windows. I'll do a screen shot again, write down what it says and give it to you tomorrow.

When you select Start Windows Normally...what happens? Does it give you a STOP Error? If it does, could you get the error code?
Also, I am assuming that Safe Mode does not work?
Do you have a windows disc? Or the Recovery Discs with the machine? (Assuming not here but you mentioned reloading windows)
Have you tried setting the BIOS settings back to where they were?
