I'm not friends with her on Facebook, but I would like to have pointed out that the National Anthem isn't the military's theme song. It stands for the country, of which the military is a part but not the only part. When they play National Anthems at the Olympics, it has nothing to do with troops.

It's probably for the better I'm not friends with her on Facebook. I would have been embroiled in this debate.

Oh yes, this day. This was an interesting thread, I'm glad someone grabbed it and preserved it before she took it down in a huff.

Also, I'll admit that I found this entry six pages deep on a vanity google. I was just really curious what would come up if I searched for myself. ("I have gone to find myself" was never quite so easy, huh?)
