Freezing!

Something seems to be wrong with the heat in the bank today. Although maintenance assures us nothing is wrong, we are all freezing and working in our coats today. I've cut the fingers off my cheap gloves so I can work in them.

Send warm thoughts. Or hot thoughts, if appropriate.

It's FINDING the thermostat that's fun. Big companies hide those things for a reason.

Incedentally, my therapists office? The server is in an oversized closet in the second floor women's restroom. I Am Not Making This Up.

I can SEE my heater is working (I opened it and checked) and yet I am in an extra wool tibetan-coat thing plus sweater and my sherpa shoes. Have not gone to gloves yet because one of the compensations of playing a 12 string is extra circulation. (The downside is ganglion cysts, carpal tunnel, and early onset arthritis, but like I could stop.)

So maybe it's a mind ray. Or the Ideas of March.

Sending thoughts of a nice...space...heater....that I could have taken out of Nicky's room hours ago to use. *headdesk* It even has a humidifier.
