The motel wasn't the finest example of places to stay but it was better than some of the greasy-walled hole-in-the-wall rooms he had found himself in throughout the years. The hotel room stands in the middle of the street like an unsuspecting eyesore, James finds it fit for the sneaky bastard.
He is dressed in simple clothing; a dark hoodie and jeans that let him blend into the crowd as a ball cap is slung low over his eyes. After all, he is an actor of the finest sorts, and in this case he feels the need to break out some of his old skills.

John either doesn't see or ignores James completely as he goes to his room and opens the door. He strips off his coat almost immediately upon entering and considers taking a shower, even considering the poor quality of the bathroom in this place.

James slips in after him, managing to not beat him silly with his cane the second his bald head comes into view. He walks past the clerks desk, and slips into the staff room with practiced ease, for all they know he's jsut the late night fill in. He quickly finds what he is looking floor and slips into the uniform of a room service attendee. His face is schooled into a foolish expression as he pulls a slight wig over his head, and his calm,collected hazel eyes change with the addition of glasses, and bright blue contacts.

When there's a knock at his door John freezes, unsure if he should answer it. He picks up his coat, expecting to have to run.
