the-almost-but-not-quite-possibility of a friendship
Did I miss something? 'Cause I don't know what you're talking about.

Standing ovation for Billy, It's hard to lean on others when you know they shouldn't be carrying so much.
I almost felt for Edward. Almost. Am I the only one, by the way, who thinks that Jake can trigger a strong memory/emotion with Edward? I mean, Jacob was on top of Edward's "People who I hope will burn in hell-list".

Sorry, I corrected it! I deleted part of what I meant to say while editing (stupid sensitive laptop!). I meant the understanding of sorts between Jake and Alice.

I always thought Billy would find it hard to lean on Jake so much! That'd be tough for a parent. And glad I could at least make you *almost* feel for Edward. ;) And very good point about Jake.. that will be coming up soon! Thanks for the review. :)

Oh, okay, well, I'm not a big fan of Alice, so yeah...

I don't know if I'd call it a 'friendship', but Jacob tolerating Alice, maybe understanding where she's coming from is a mature reaction from Jake. I don't blame him for wanting the Cullens to go the hell away - they've never brought anything but disruption and corruption as far as he and Bella are concerened.
I'm always surprised when Billy is concerned for Bella. Again, I always think she brings so much misery upon herself with her choices and then lumps them on top of Jacob since he's alawys seen it as his job to protect her. If I was Billy, I would just want to shake her.
Can't wait to see what's up with Edward though and what will trigger his memory and if he'll immediately want to resume his relationship with Bella and how she'll feel about that. Poor Jacob. You know he's got to be worried. It wouldn't be the first time he'd get thrown aside. Again. LOL

Yeah, it's more of an understanding.. and he's okay with her moreso than any of the others because of dealing with her when Bella left. As for the Cullen's, they're a bit... stupid with being so upset lets say.

And while I do agree that Billy could very easily have some irritation for Bella, he never really flipped out. I kind of see him as calm and I think seeing how Jake feels about her would make him care.. not to mention Charlie being his closest friend!

And yes, lots to come with Edward. ;) Thanks for the review, bb!

WHEW. Okay, that didn't destroy me the way I feared it would. It ended with J/B snorgles. *exhales*

Well, I can't promise no angst later! :x But hey, I've told a few reviewers previously that Bella and Jake have been through a lot to get where they are.. she's a little wiser and more inclined to be careful of hurting him. :)

Snorgles between them makes me happy!
