There is one last note about Tyki to be made. How his Noah awakened and how he received Tease.
Tyki's Noah didn't awaken until he was eight. Joyd was awakened through the usual means of Tyki's world: Tyki was given a capsule and told to swallow it whole. Inside the capsule was dark matter, just a little bit, enough to normally wake the slumbering Noah up without hurting the host. However, Tyki's Noah Joyd didn't want to wake up quite yet. The Earl tried to force the matter, attacking Tyki with Innocence. Of course, unable to suppress his hatred of Innocence, Joyd woke up rather cranky, but it took twelve hours for him to awaken fully. His Family had assumed him a failure and sent him to school the next day. That was a mistake. As the newly awakened Joyd, eight year old Tyki went to school and killed everyone. He woke up covered in blood, standing over his best friend's dying body. He cried for over an hour before the Earl came to fetch him. Tyki was brought home, where he was home schooled by Cyril. The Earl rejoiced at what he called a "marvelous" awakening but it broke something inside Tyki, something that can probably never be prepared.

When he was ten, Tyki received Tease from the Earl. However, unlike his Tease in canon that he willingly keeps in his hands, Tyki's Tease was forcefully implanted in his body. It was a small butterfly, about the size of one cupped hand, and it was implanted just beneath the skin on his neck. He can call Tease forth but he tends to avoid doing that, as it's painful fusing Tease under his skin again. Just like in canon, Tease grows in size after feeding and multiplies after being implanted in anyone else. And just like in canon, Joyd is the Noah of pleasure, able to phase through anything and only touching what he wants to. The only exception is Tease. Tease does not phase with Tyki, so he releases the butterfly before he phases, and he cannot phase Tease permanently out of his body. Tyki both loves and hates Tease, his feelings ranging from viewing it as a beloved pet to a terrible curse. Tease is extremely loyal to him and will only follow his orders. No other Tyki can control him nor can the Earl, who originally made Tease and presented it to Tyki. The Earl was not happy to find out about the last bit.
