i just got back from seeing okkervil river in orlando with abby and all i have to say is: WOW. the best show i've ever been to. they are absolutely amazing live, and if any of you ever get a chance to see them don't pass it up. they were so fun to watch and sounded incredible. the best part is they played all of the songs i wanted to hear! even

we didn't stay for them. i seriously hated them that night because all of their fans were soooooo stupid. all i was hearing around me before the show started was, "these opening bands are so stupid! blah blah blah!" they were like little thirteen-year-old wannabe indie-snobs. needless to say when the brunettes and okkervil river started playing they were eating their words!

yeah, i'm pretty sure i am! i wasn't able to get my camera into the show but abby got her small one in. it was so amazing, we took like two pictures and she has a short thirty second video on her camera of it.

When Origin comes, that is exactly how I shall feel. Oh, I think I might go to see the Decembrists, Billy Corgan, and Cold Play.

i hate you! billy corgan is a rock-god. i've already seen the decemberists, and i saw them before anyone knew about them so it was even better! you know why? because we were the only ones at the show! (about ten people there) i've seen billy corgan with zwan, although it would be great to see him solo as well. and i have a chance to see coldplay this september! i doubt i'll go though. ha!
