today is loner, leave-me-the-hell-alone day.
i spent hours just walking, and well, shopping. i didn't wanna be stuck at home, but i didn't want to be with anyone too. i'm weird and moody like that.
right now i'm sipping on chai latte from the coffee bean and tea leaf (winner! i swear.) and munching on beard papa's cream puffs (winner!). (side note:

Aaaww, in fairness, reading your bit about debate did make me miss competing as a debater. The part about the rush of anxiety and excitement you get when you hear the voice on the mic announce "Match-ups" is what got me really nostalgic.
As for debate achievements, you've achieved so much more than so many people who've tried out debating. But more importantly, trust me - they only keep score in the debate world. Once you get out there, nobody really cares. And after a while when you're no longer as immersed in debating as you are now, neither will you.=P

But I was deathly afraid of you in high school.
You were the girl who gave me a POI during my first (and only) try-out for IDEA that made me stop in the middle of my speech, scratch my head and say "oo nga 'no. Wait lang, let me think about that"
And I can sympathize with you, not having won anything in my career as well (aside from an intra-DLSU tournament, lol)... but do know this: while you might not have had your own trophy to bring home, you've won over people's respect. And that's something you should be truly proud of. :)
Sigh. I miss debating. Can't we make like an IV for debate retirees that just want to debate for fun, and make the new generation adj for a change? Lol.

waz. i don't know what to say. i feel like such a bully. errr. i'm sorry. waaaaaazzzz.
thanks estelle, hihihi.
omg, if we have some sort of IV for retirees, we might be too young to compete. who knows just how many old debaters might come out of the woodwork? haha. peace. respect. LOL.

you and Tet were giving the try-outs at the corridor of some SPCP building. I was 4th year HS na by this time, and I was so embarassed na I couldn't answer your POI. Hihihi.
:D
that's why when you guys started debating in College, I was so scared of you and Tet. Lol. Highschool hang-ups. Hehe. Wala lang, sharing!
RE: IVs for retirees-- kasama ba ako duon sa "too young to compete"? or am I part of the old debaters coming out of the woodwork? :D hahahaha.
