Last month I planted a number of things on my balcony: two pots of flower seeds, a strawberry plant, and a flower bulb. Last week I bought a "salsa" kit, which included cilantro, tomato, and pepper seeds. The older plants got a lot of abuse from the squirrels. Pains in the air
I know you think it's a good idea to leave your work at home when you're going out of town to visit your family but you would be wrong. Because if the airlines have any say, you will not make it back home with plenty of time to get that work done. Oh, no. You will not. -

While lying on my couch yesterday, trying not to go crazy, I watched 25th Hour a movie that I've wanted to see since it came out 8 years ago. I had to wait a good 2 weeks for it to become available at the library. So, I'm flipping through the channels this morning and guess what's on TV? Ugh. It is sad that my bad mood go-tos are internetty things often but I've been immobile for most of the day, sitting and sleeping on my couch though I did actually cook dinner. My fits of insomnia have been documented here before and one of the most important things that I learned early on is to train my body to understand that my bed is for sleeping.
