It's been almost a week

Yup, so it's been almost a week since I set foot in France. Stayed three days in Paris with my friends, visited Notre-Dame, Eiffel, Louvre museum and a few other places. The landmarks are indeed beautiful but the food was really shitty. Not really the food, but the ingredients, I mean, they are so bad it almost makes me rethink about my cooking ability which I'm pretty sure is really good. And are they not only just bad but really expensive as well.

Now I've been in Reims for a few days to start my internship aka the real reason I came here in the first place. I used to working on inorganic chemistry before so to start anew in organic chemistry is not all fun and game, at least not as "fun and game" as inorganic. I should get used to it soon since I only have three months to finish all these experiments for the thesis, get back to Vietnam, do the freaking thesis defence and voila, get my bloody MSc.

One more thing I really should get used to is to say Bonjour every time I see someone I don't know in the lab, in the dorm or even sometimes in the street. As for some one as socially awkward as me, it's been freaking hard!

Bonus: a picture of the legendary Eiffel tower (it was the only day that was sunny during my stay in Paris)

(Jackie Chan fell off this tower in Rush Hour!)

urgh
