so. this is college. i'm pretty homesick; i'm not gunna lie. like, everytime i talk to my mom i have to try really hard not to cry & sometimes it doesn't work. & everyone's pictures & letters & GAH. but it'll get better once classes start

don't not go out b/c you don't want to drink... you can always still go out and dance/meet people and hang out without drinking... lots of people do it... and you can still have fun!
also, if you want to fake drinking, just carry around a beer or whatever... and if you're playing a game, just don't actually drink... there are some tricks of the trade so don't worry about it...
if you do drink, have fun, don't worry about it... and call me up!!!
