...quite possibly the least coherent subject line ever. but yeah, i feel like poo, and my mom woke me up this morning at like...845. i had every intention of sleeping all day, but then the sun was in my face. so now i'll probably sleep through dinner slash stay up half the night again...i feel like a vampire XD
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
ummmm go to college. ha. and everything that comes with it. also...graduate high school. and...well, i guess those are the major things.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i don't know if i made any last year? [i guess that's a good indication of whether they were kept XD] annnnd i definitely didn't make any this year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
ummm....no? someone in my extended family probably did bc there's like 3 thousand of us, and therefore one of these three thousand most likely popped one out at some point in '06.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
nope. except for john mayer. meaning crystal's fish, not the real john mayer...i wanted to have a funeral, but her roommate threw him out...heartbreaking, i know.
5. What countries did you visit?
i was going to say i didn't leave the state, but that's a huge lie bc we went to disney & i also went to new york twice. but no countries, sadly...soon, though, i will study abroad and it will be fabulous.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
a car? ex dee. and i guess some tolerance...hahhaa.
7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory?
oh man. ummmm ftri in nyc was jan 13th-15th...districts in early feb...the first weekend of march was GAD, then the 7th was freaking BILLY JOEL, and disney from the 8th to 12th, and regionals the 17th/18th, although districts was way better...in april we saw rent...may was prom + celebration...june 9th we graduated, then moseywood...mid-to-late-july my house was invaded by my favorite people ever :)...and august 23rd was the hardest day of my life. plus everything from school....2006 has been a pretty memorable year.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
graduating, not failing out my first semester XD
9. What was your biggest failure?
"things with people" is, i think, the best way to describe it...also known as "sometimes i just get tired of having to try so hard"
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
ummm just little sicknesses...colds and whatnot
11. What was the best thing you bought?
i guess i'll have to go with my education, ridiculously expensive as it is XD

a lot of people :-P

people's. and my own. but "appalled and depressed" is kind of extreme. "disappointed" is more like it =P
14. Where did most of your money go?
college expenses...not even counting tuition, just all the shit i had to get..plus my books
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
coming home....but then after a while that changed to going back to etown. and also christmas in hershey :-P and various other things from the beginning of the year, obvs

hm. probably everything from CONTINUUM, as well as ttb stuff [especially "come to your senses"] and guys&dolls ;)
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? not exactly sadder. just not as happy.
b) thinner or fatter? oh hey freshman 15 =P
c) richer or poorer? ummmm probably slightly richer. but i have to spend a lot of money on books in 2 weeks, soooo...

reading for pleasure...although i guess i do a fair amount. never enough, clearly :-P

sleeping. i mean, i love to sleep, but it wastes a lot of life.

we opened presents here, then i slept from 9 until 2 bc i was fortunate enough to be presented with my period on christmas day...annnnd then to aunt andie's for the annual marturano christmas extravaganza =P

went to cj's...played sweet GSN games on the tv...watched mr. small set off illegal fireworks...stood around the food table w/ gina...pahaha.

nope.

hate...hm. well, i guess sometimes, but it's more me stubbornly refusing change. except when stupidity is involved.

gah. ummmmm i loved going after cacciato and also the thursday next books

mmm corinne bailey rae + the last 5 years...oh, ttb & avq count, too haha.

a lot of infinite moments.

everything to be perfect when i came home from school.

probably the departed. oh, and the night listener was really good, too.

19. and it was christmas....haha. albeit not one of the best.

uhhh...nonexistant? haha. i...don't really get dressed. ever.

um. i actually have no idea? probably bc the box squad era died out and life got more complicated.

hmmm. if i were cj, i'd say immigration. haha. probably the war and bush being a douche in general.

obviously etown loves. duh.

you can't base who you are off of who you have in life...your identity has to be able to survive on its own.
